Fruitful Holiday Tree

Would you try this decoration?



* plate/platter
* Foam tree from craft store
* Lettuce leaves
* Star shaped cookie cutter
* Toothpicks
* Assorted fruits: kiwi, cranberries, grapes, strawberries and melon

1.
Cover foam tree with lettuce leaves and place on plate or platter.

2.
Make melon stars with cookie cutter.

3.
Place fruit on toothpicks and insert into foam. Magical and edible!

That actually looks really good. But I know if I tried it I'd fail miserably. But I do kinda want to give it a try

chux4w I think you should give it a try! as long as you follow the steps and take your time you might just surprise yourself I hope you go for it, if you do take a picture and post it here I would love to see how yours comes out.

I definitely would try it, but final exams leave me very little spare time, plus it sounds pretty expensive for a student on a budget. I think I might stick to my Ferrero Rocher this year.

Aren't Rocher more expensive than fruit? Those things are like £5 for a thing of 6.
